Bridal, all you have to do is enter your profile into our database, along with
the information of what type of partner profile you are looking for. Then you
can sit back as our powerful database system goes to work, finding that special
lucky person you are searching for and automatically alert you via the Cupid
function. At the same time, you will be handling your powerful control panel
(communicator), which tells, who have viewed your profile, send you message,
text, voice, video chat, upload your video files, upload your sound files, and
much more..
Are members on this site screened?
Not always. A
valid email address is required in order to obtain the full benefit of this
site. Anyone abusing the services will be banned. However, our service is
otherwise confidential. There is no way that we can do extensive background
checks on members, and we expect you to understand that we cannot take
responsibility for any pain, damage or suffering arising from your use of this
site. Please use your common sense and be careful about giving out personal
information to people you meet on this site.
What
is the difference between entering guest user and a member?
Lucky Bridal works on a membership system so that we are able to keep data files
that contain your profile information etc. Guests may enter the site and browse
the listings, but in order to post a profile and use the many features available
on the site, you must become a member.
Is my private
information and identity secured?
Yes it is very
secure. There is no way that anyone else can come across your private
information on our site. We even insist that you do not publicly disclose any
private information, (such as name, address, phone number etc) about you on the
site. Our concern for our member’s security is such that inclusion of such
private information on the public area of our site is not permitted.
If I forgot my
password or Username, what do I do?
Simply go to our home page, members login section, click
on “Forgot Password” for our automated password/Username lookup form. Your
Username and Password is then emailed to your email account.
How do I become a member, and what types of membership are available?
You become a member by filling in our simple registration
information on our home page. Basically there are 2 types of membership.
1. Standard Members, for those who have not paid by subscribing.
2. Supreme Members, for those who have paid by subscribing. Subscribed
members get the full benefit of the site, including priority response to
questions.
How do I search for members?
There are two ways that you can search our database: by username or by
preferences. If you are looking for a specific person and you remember their
Username, enter it in the "Username" field at the top of the Search Page. If you
are not looking for a specific person, but rather someone who matches a
description you give, then use the second form on the Search Page, which allows
you to describe the kind of person you are looking for. You can search by almost
any category of information that we keep track of, including sex, location,
languages spoken, etc.
How do I send
email to members?
Only Subscribed Members can initiate email contact with
other members: To contact other members on Lucky Bridal, please follow these
steps:
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on the "Search" link.
Enter the username of the member you wish to contact into the "Username Search
Form," or select your search preferences and click on the “Submit” button to
see your results.
Click on a “Send Message” icon below the member’s summary profile and proceed
accordingly. Type the Subject, Write your message, and click on “Submit”, to
send your message.
Standard (Basic) members: Standard members are allowed to view as many numbers
of profiles as they wish but cannot email any member.
How do
I get email from other members?
Lucky Bridal uses a sophisticated emailing system. When
you get mail, it goes into your mailbox on Lucky Bridal, and you are also
automatically notified in your private email address. (The sender does not get
to see your private email address. This double emailing is driven by our
database.) This will present you with a link back to
Lucky Bridal, where you can then log in
as usual to read your mails.
Are profiles censored, and is there any limit to what I can put in my profile?
Not all profiles are censored. Lucky Bridal Membership
team approves most member’s profiles, when they are originally created as well
as when they are modified. We reserve the right to refuse any profile or
photograph that we feel is inappropriate for this site. Also, we ask that you do
not put any personal information etc, in your profile, including but not limited
to:
Any direct contact information (i.e., email addresses, URLs, phone numbers,
full names, addresses)
Any location or descriptive information that threatens a member’s anonymity
Abusive language of any kind (i.e., vulgarity, racism)
Discussion or descriptions of illegal acts or behavior (i.e., drug use,
violence)
Business or political advertisements or solicitations
Material that exploits or solicits personal information from individuals under
the age of 21
Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material
Lucky Bridal does not accept content
from: Individuals under the age of 21. Because this is a violation of our Terms
of Use, repeat offences may result in the termination of your account without
warning or refunds.
How long does it
take to have my profile posted?
It usually takes 24 - 48 hours to have your profile
posted, depending on how many people sign up each day. If 2 days have passed and
your profile still has not been posted, please notify us via email to
Support.
Upload a photograph:
People like to see whom they're writing to and as a result, profiles with
photographs get up to ten times more clicks as profiles that don't have one.
You can either upload a photo from a digital camera or a scanner.
Create a catchy title for your profile:
When members search listings on the site, the title of your profile is listed
next to your name. As a general rule, a profile title like “Hi!” does not
catch people's attention, where as more personalized titles do.
Think before you write:
Feel free to write as much as you want in our essay portions of the sign-up
pages. Tell other members about yourself, for instance: your likes and
dislikes, things you enjoy doing, what line of work you're in, what your
personality is like, even your hopes and dreams. The better your profile
describes you, the more likely it is that others will read and respond to it.
If you can't think of anything right away, you can always add more later. And
don't forget to fill out the optional profile questions - these will also help
other members get to know you even better.
How do I
permanently remove my listing and delete my account?
To permanently delete your profile, please follow the
instructions below. This is not recommended as you cannot recover your profile
if you later change your mind. Moreover, you can safely suspend your account and
no one will be able to view your profile.
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on the "My Profile" under Member Menu to the top right hand side of the
page.
Click on Delete Profile and follow the simple instruction that follows.
How do I fill in “Extensive
Profiles”?
Extensive profile exists to capture more information about
you as an individual. It makes it easier for any potential “match” to get to
know enough to evaluate you and vice versa. It is highly recommended that you
should complete them all, although it is not compulsory. To update your
extensive profile, please follow these steps:
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on the "My Profile" under Member Menu to the top right hand side of the
page.
Scroll down to the bottom half of the page and click on the heading of the
extensive profile that you want to update and proceed accordingly, making sure
to save each page that you filled in.
Why should I upload my photos?
Looking at photos is an important part of most people's
selection process. A nice picture of yourself adds personality and presence to
your profile and profiles with photos get browsed ten times more often than
those without photos.
What are the guidelines for posting a photo?
Photographs will not appear on the site until they are approved by our customer
services. We reserve the right to reject any photo at our discretion. Our system
automatically crops all photos to fit into our standard size.
Photo Content
Please adhere to the following guidelines:
Nude, obscene, sexual or otherwise offensive photos will not be posted. Cartoon
characters and photos of celebrities are copyrighted and will not be posted.
You must be in the photo and clearly visible. Images of minors (children) will
ensure rejection of the photograph. Photo Tips:
Choose a recent photo that reflects your current appearance. Use a photo of
yourself alone for your primary image.
Try group photos for other non-primary images.
Option 1: Upload a Photo
Firstly you have to login into the site with your username and password. Click
on “Upload Photos”, under Member Menu and follow the instructions.
Once approved, uploaded photos will be posted as they are submitted. Our system
automatically crops your photo if necessary before uploading it. Due to the
volume of photos that we receive, it may take up to 1 - 2 working days for your
photo to appear on your profile.
Option 2: Photo - through postal mail.
To help speed up the process when you mail your photo, please include the
following information:
First and last name.
Luckybridal.com - username.
luckybridal.com - registered email address.
Birth date (dd/mm/yyyy, to be used for verification purpose)
Photo attached.
Only one photo per email please.
How much does it cost?
It costs nothing to register and become a standard member.
However, to fully utilize the full advantage of the site, you need to become a
subscribed member, and the fees are as follows:
Pay by Credit / Debit Card
/ online bank transfer and more, through ABCpayments secured gateway.
Postal Order for the relevant amount sent to our office
Cheque drawn on an ICICI bank and sent to our office.
If paying by either Postal Order or Cheque, kindly provide your membership
number and email address in case we need to contact you and to enable us to more
quickly process your membership.
Why was my credit card denied?
There are many reasons for this, but you can readily
resolve any problems by contacting the card issuer. The main reasons for this

What is the Cupid service and
how do I use it?
The Cupid service allows you, as an luckybridal.com
member, to select a variety of personal characteristics that you’re looking for
in a person, and the site will then notify you via emails of new luckybridal.com
members who match your preferences. In other words, you will receive prompt
notification of new members without having to come to the site every day to look
for them yourself.
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on “My Profile” under “Member Menu” to the right.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Update MyCupid”.
Choose all the characteristics that you are looking for and click on “Submit”
button at the bottom of the page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and
follow the instruction.
To turn off Cupid Mail, Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on
“Turn off Cupid”
What is the "Hotlist" feature?
Your Hotlist is a list of members whom you are interested
in. It maintains a link to their profile. When you do a search and click to view
more information of a member, you will find to the right “Hot Member” under the
Custom Menus. By clicking on “Hot Member”, the member is added to your Hotlist.
You can later remove people from your Hotlist by clicking on the "Delete"
checkbox next to their name, then clicking on the "Update Hotlist" button. This
is found under “Communicator” in the Member Menu area.
